April 17 always takes me back to Jersey for one of the better weekend runs when a special guest stepped onto the stage both nights. Shout out to @got-to-rise-above who I’m pretty sure was hangin’ out with us post-show that swirly Sat. night with Folkes and Metcalfe and Abby and other MoCo heads.

I made it to the openers in Hampton and Morgantown the week before, but had to be back in school that weekend

Spring 1983 was strong and having Stephen Stills sit in was the icing!
